You should check before downloading the setup.zip whether the Runtime files for Visual Basic 6 Service Pack 5 are available on your PC. If this isn't true, you find corresponding notes on the download page.
After downloading the setup.zip you unzip this file in a temporary folder of your computer. Close all applications and start the file setup.exe to install KIT. Take the notes on the installation windows.
The Microsoft HTMLHelp Workshop (
Download)
is a Freeware tool and mandatory if you liked to use all functions of Kit. Microsoft
Internet Explorer (version > 4.0) is a "must have" to use HTMLHelp
Workshop.
