KIT is a tool, with which you be able to make index file for the Microsoft HTMLHelp 1.x (index.HHK), the Help 2.x format (index.HxK) or for a web-based help with FAR (h_index.htm). The result files in the different formats have then to be integrated into the desired help system.

The topics of HTMLHelp help systems are based on many single HTML files and they are compiled with pictures and other files to a CHM. It is usefully therefore one put the source files in a folder structure. The index to a help system is made most manually till now. KIT lists these files and arranges an index and helps you to accelerate the process. |
